Timeline: Aug 2022 - Current

2026 Playoffs

I was tasked with developing a visual direction for Austin Spurs during the 2026 NBA G League Playoffs. The challenge was developing a campaign that paid homage to the city, while retaining accessibility to the possibility of us hosting games in San Antonio, home of our affiliate team.

The result was a "Record Shop" visual campaign with a music/vinyl motif that carried across gameday and social creative for the postseason.

2025-26 Social Creative

Our 20th Anniversary roster was full of underrated talent — from David Jones Garcia, who brought a strong following from his hometown in the Dominican Republic, to Harrison Ingram, a rookie forward who proved relentlessly consistent on the court. I worked within the visual system built for the 20th Anniversary while finding room to let these rising stars stand out.

One standout moment: when Carter Bryant was assigned to us for two games, I knew the media attention around his missed dunk the week before would follow him. I designed an announcement graphic built around a single image from his rookie photoshoot that broke from the usual feed pattern — it pulled 21.1K likes and a collaboration with @nbagleague.

2025 Playoffs

Austin Spurs returned to the playoffs for the first time in 4 years. I was tasked with developing a visual campaign that paid homage to the city. I took the next step and developed a marketing campaign surrounding a newly-minted slogan "Give 'em the boot!" with the goal of creating a stark contrast between our regular season and postseason creative, and giving our fanbase a rally cry to get behind.

In 2024, we debuted our secondary boot logo. In an effort to bring the secondary logo into the limelight, I was inspired to build the campaign around it. The rowel rays graphic elements and City of The Violet Crown motif followed.
